In business since 2002, Royal Lens is the original manufacturer to specialize in low profile wide angle lenses. Its flagship product, the Diamond 0.3x, was designed in 2001 with the Stealth 0.5x following shortly thereafter. The updated Stealth 0.5x ver.2 was released in 2006. The Platinum 0.2x was released in 2007.
The goal of Royal Lens is to provide cost-effective, high-quality low profile optics. Application of these lenses includes skydiving, BASE jumping, paragliding, skateboarding, model aircrafts, aerobatic airplane cockpits, professional film and video production, military applications and amateur home use. |
| Royal Lens optical products were conceptualized in collaboration with Mr. Ryoichi Komiya of Engineer Link Coordination (ELC) located in Tokyo, Japan. ELC has been in business for over 20 years and has provided professional broadcasting, miniature cameras systems, electronic engineering and optical customizing to such companies as The Olympic Games, NASA, FAI World Rally and more. |

Royal Lens is owned and operated by Maxwell Cohn, a professional skydiver with a rich history in advanced instruction, pro competition, sponsorship and video performance. He has traveled extensively within the United States and through 18 countries in four continents.
Maxwell is also a seasoned author and public speaker. He received a B.A. from Colgate University in 1998 and served as National Director for the United States Parachute Association from 2005-2007. |
